About All the Names
All the Names is a collection of 279 free name generators. Each one makes twenty names at a time for a specific job, from tiefling warlocks to coffee shops to fantasy football teams, and explains how good names in that category work.
Why the site exists
Most name generators hand you a list and nothing else. That is fine when you only need a name, but less helpful when you are trying to work out why one name fits a dwarf cleric and another sounds like a brand of cereal. Every page here pairs the generator with notes on the sounds, conventions and common mistakes in its category, plus examples with a line on why each one works.
The tools are built to be quick to use on a phone at a game table: filters that update the list as you tap them, a copy button on every name, a heart to save the ones you like, and a share link that reproduces the exact list for someone else.
Who runs it
All the Names is an independent site operated by Stellar Capital. It is not affiliated with any game publisher, platform or registrar mentioned on its pages. Names of games and platforms appear only to describe what a generator is for.
How it pays for itself
The site is free and has no accounts. It may show display advertising, and the business name pages may link to a domain registrar or a company-formation service that pays a commission if you buy something. The affiliate disclosure lists those partners.
How the names are made
Every generator builds names from word lists and patterns written for this site. The how it works page explains the process, including why the same share link always gives the same list.
